Today I feel more upbeat than usual so I vote for "like game hate bugs", or maybe I'm just drunk enough to think that way.

When the bugs happen sometimes I go into "I hate this but it's mechwarrior so I will play forever" mode.

the recent bugs (namely the audio crackle) make me appreciate the game a lot less. My enjoyment will probably get back to normal once it's resolved.

Good game, need's more content. I don't mind the bugs so much, they're pretty minor for me and I'm suffering more from getting bored of only 4 map types (And only 2 with variants) and not enough mechs/game modes.

i class it as a good game.
sure i have issues as well namely,
rubber banding and memory leak after about 8 games, and very rarely gold vision.
but i can live with them ATM not just because they are been worked on with a fix,
but because of the good games i have, this game does have a rush to it,
where you can see your own skill sets raise with your favorite mech classes.

plus i'd like to add that first player experience isn't to bad,
i let my nephew have ago yesterday (he's 10) I didn't say anything no
advise nothing after the first minute he got the hang of the movement controls np
( i did need to tell him how to fire different weapons using my mouse button set :))
now i think my Bro in-law is annoyed lol, nephew wants a new PC so he can have his own mech's.

Indeed 17% don't enjoy the game in it's current state

A further 7% merely think the game is okay.

This on the games official forums which will see less than 1% of the player base.

(Ignoring that the sample size is currently tiny as you have done)

If you know anything about how game forums population usually gravitates towards the people that like the game.. Well then you would know there is a serious problem with that figure.

A further 17% like the game but are being impacted by the bugs to the point where it's generating significant impact.

So we are looking at 41% of people who are having some level minor to great dissatisfaction with the game.

Not good is it?

Ya i just wonder ..... i play PS2 from now and then and since the Relase nothing really changed,
So i wonder what they are working on.
All the Bug's and Problems i noticed , when the Game has become released, are still there. (like no Vehicle Sounds , Engineers can't place Turrets / Ammo packs and every 2-3rd time they try to place them , the Stuff just disapear or is bugged and you can't deal with it.
The Frames are still poor ..... even you can handle the recommended requirement etc.
There are so many bugs and problems it's like a continuous loop and if they would finally fixed some of those problems they still have so many work on balance this Game etc. (AA, Airplanes)..................

I really can not imagining how they wanna fix all this and keep adding new Content (wich is bringing even more Bugs with itself )

I have $$ waiting on my Paypal Account and i don't want to spend them rightnow (it's rare i'm usualy wasteful) just because i'm not sure if my semi High End Pc can handle this now or not... and because if i just wait i can grind it anyway in 1-2 Years.

Common give me a reason to spend some Money or i have to save it (omg)

I'd say 35 votes is a wee bit short of anything approaching data to consider. Give it a bit, see if the numbers get into the thousands..THEN you'll have some good data to check.

Where's the option for "I really enjoy what is here, and am excited for what's coming."?

MWO **** YEA neatly encapsulates that if you really enjoy the current state of the game.

Yes I even mentioned this point in my post I wasn't the person who brought up the results before there was really anything to actually comment on.

After all if we look right now 50%+ either have problems with the game or merely find it okay. but this isn't just a small snap shot and being on this forum it's likely that we will be skewed towards player satisfaction because of the nature of it being the game dev forum.

Edit: haha fixed a typo. That will teach me to post while tired.... Player sanctification indeed!

Like but lacks content. I'm looking forward to some real player interaction within the game (chat, group/merc corp interaction) along with the meta game of taking contracts to assault so-and-so planet for House XYZ against House ABC. They need more maps, and they need to be series - desert planet can't be on the one desert map, but one of four or five.

I know they're coming, but more mechs to flesh out the rosters!

Threw up a second question for the poll to gather some what more precise data.

I'm in the "like the game because its a mech game and its fun, but needs more content and severely more feature and bug fixes" category.

And what i'm holding on for is more features, particularly community warfare. If they ever drop that feature in favor of just doing straight mindless pvp, I'd probably lose interest in this game and go rummage through my huge stash of back logged games instead.

On the flip side, if they do someday down the line finished or partially add community warfare and its awesome, and they have interesting stuff to put money on, my money is basically in their pocket.

I deleted that post because I was wrong, OP essentially proved his point with the poll. But its my own fault, I forgot about the loud minority rule.
