Firstly, is this game actually live now? It still says BETA on this site, yet on MMORPG.COM is claims it is now final? I am abit confused with this. When in game, how come I cant choose DirectX 10? I thought that was supported? I have a Geforce 550ti 1gb Video, with DirectX 11 so the card should be good enough? Finally, the game seems really dark and the graphics to me aren't what I was expecting from Cryengine 3 (when you see Crysis 2 for example) they just seem underwhelming, or am I missing something? Thanks for your time!

It is an OPEN beta. Anyone can play, but it is not necessarily the complete product.

DX9 is the only version of DX currently implemented. DX11 is coming soon.

The game overall is quite dim and most maps feature environmental overlays (such as Caustic Valley's yellow scum) which further reduce clarity and colour.

Why are you a new player and a founder?
This is confusing.

A lot of people bought the packs (5 million dollars worth!) but did not participate in the closed beta (many did not wish to play until there would be no more resets)

As Redshift2k5 mentioned above,

The Game is in Open Beta, however, it is still being actively worked on and is missing key features the developers would like to see implemented before they declare it on a "finished" build. (And they intend to continue balancing, supporting, and adding content past the "finished" build)

DX9 is the only supported version of DX currently ,however, DX11 looms close on the horizon.

Cheers.
