A huge problem for PUGS continues to be the lack of voice comms & simply coordination.

I suggested this back in closed beta, and still think that it would very simply resolve the issue & improve coordination and challenge of games.

uses a text based voice chat like tribes VGS,we would need as little as 20 commands

"target - alpha,bravo,charlie, etc"

"defend our base"

"attack the enemy base"

etc.

Now, this stuff has been in in mechwarrior too - the single player obviously had keystrokes to give orders to lance mates. Many video games have used this in the past, and for good reason - it makes PUG games much more fun and is pretty simple to implement.

Since we already have bitching betty in, having the ability to use this time of comms would give pugs and actual means of effective & fast communication while still letting them PUG and do well!

Also, while im not sure what PGI has planned for lances, I still would like to see lance leaders & different colours for each lance on the command map, plus proper assignments & pilot names/mech they are in listed along the sides of the maps with arrows/lines to the mechs.

I'm i part reposting this because ECM has made it much harder for PUGS to coordinate as the enemy is so much harder to find & voice comms is the only viable means of being fast enough to respond to events on the battlefield at all.
