ECM is a very beneficial piece of equipment. However, there are still ways to fight it and counter it. Please keep in mind of this.
Also, the point of playing a game is to have fun. However, not everyone is satisfied about a game from time to time. Maybe change your mind set and do something else for a bit then play the game.

Agree with bluten, buffing the bap so it could counter SOME of the ECM could work. by some i mean, it could allow the guy WITH the BAp (not he's fellows) to target enemies in the ecm bubble, but without relaying the targeting info (AKA red square) to its teammates. it could even have a slower targeting time to "compensate".
still, i think ta a limit to 2 ecm's per 8 mechs would still be the best way to prevent the ECM fiesta of some matches without resorting to direct nerfing of the ecm (although i still think that 180m bubble is a bit much, it could be 100m).
anyway, just my 2 cents.

There are large numbers of existing ECM threads, both pro- and con-. It seems as if this thread contains too much non-constructive content relative to it's constructive content, and is no longer productive at this time, so is being closed.
