As a Deaf MechWarrior player, I'd like to play with other players experience the same issues regarding voice communication and would prefer a well coordinated team using text, especially with other Deaf players as well as significantly Hard of Hearing players.
The primary language used would be English. I don't care if you're new or experienced, I'll gladly help new players to get used to the game.

If there are enough players, we can form a Mech Corp for the Deaf and HoH. I can supply the website etc for this if there is enough demand.

Feel free to add me ingame if you're interested into playing with me or add me on Steam.

For those that are interested. This is a work around that I have been trying. There are some bugs but it works most of the time.

I use TS3 with my clan, while running Dragon capture software I am able to translate the voice into a stream of text.

Set up in game should be the min res and windowed mode. SFX needs to be turned off as The software has tried to translate the SFX and caused crashes.

With TS3 running, mute the mic and allow the dragon software to capture the Speaker output. This requires all three programs running at the same time, so it you have a low end machine this may not work for you. It is not 100% but you get the main points of the conservation. I always reply in team chat as to what I am doing and the direction of sightings.

Good luck and have more fun.

I support this. I am not Deaf or HoH, but I do know a few people who are (my gf acts HoH sometimes :) ).
