You apparently can't talk about Community Warfare.

Closing, this is a duplicate post.

CW is in the works, please have patience.

Edited by Dakkath, Today, 11:30 AM.

Seriously there was zero basis or reason to close my thread as well as Rifters. By the same reasoning as above you should be closing any thread that talks about upcoming mechs or any other upcoming features.

I don't want some "community moderator" who doesn't know any more than the rest of us answering questions directed at a dev. It's nonsense that you would close threads with actual concerns when there are hundreds of threads that are 100% useless or retreads.

Why wouldn't I?

Closing threads due to being "duplicate" would remove 90% of the forums so it seems like a pretty craptastic excuse to me.

Meaning it can no longer be discussed in the thread, which in turns causes it to be lost under all the drivel posted on a daily basis. Deleting it would look bad. Closing it looks "less" bad.

I don't think they want their BFF (big friggin feature) to be discussed out of hand. Speculations are just gonna go off rail and they pipe it down to focus on actually building the thing than to sit and reply in all the CW-threads. My two cents at least.

You mean the general "community warfare" topic or your topic?

Rifter posted more than 1 thread on the subject. As of last night at least one of them was closed.

I really don't understand why everyone is so bent out of shape over this. (not wanting to answer CW questions yesterday) Frankly, I am glad they are closing these childish threads.

I want CW as bad as the next guy, but:

A - If they told you a bunch of stuff now that ended up not being implemented because of valid reasons #1-#17, you would still be pissed because they lied.

B - 117 questions about a feature that isn't even in the near term pipeline would just waste Q&A time, and **** off the 117 people who asked them when said questions were ignored. They did the right thing by prefacing the discussion.

C - The damn game DOESN"T EVEN WORK RIGHT NOW, and you want community warfare details so bad you have to make thread after thread complaining that they didn't want those questions during yesterdays Q&A? Seriously? How about they make a working game, and we concentrate our feedback on helping them do that.

D - Get over it.

It wouldn't have been a thing if they would have answered one or two questions about it in the Q&A. Instead they came out and said nope don't ask and then started closing threads.

Both of the threads were closed because you guys had an official answer from the dev's. Please visit the forum's code of conduct and specifically view the section about "creating duplicate threads, and cross linking threads".

Closing.
