That's what I have (and it seems popular.)
Raven 3L
Maxed Engine
FF Armor
ES Structure
11-12DHS (depending on what you prefer)
2 Med lasers (or 3 if you prefer)
2 STRK2s + 2 tons/ammo
Tag (or 3rd ML if you prefer)
ECM
Not quite maxed armor (removing half a ton where ever you feel like it)
Typically get about 4-600 dmg... good for killing lights, great for killing heavier stuff.
Keeps a tag just in case I have aSasquatch LRM support mech on my team.
Minor edit- it's not really a brawler: except when it comes to other lights.. it's more of a Guerrilla figher when it comes to large mechs. Brawling doesn't really exist in this game because if a mech truly brawls it doesn't last very long.

I built a Raven 3L as a dedicated recon mech.
Endosteel
Ferrofibrous (Near max armor -1 each leg -2 each arm)
10 DHS
AMS with 1 ton ammo
2 medium lasers
2 SSRM2 with 2 tons ammo (or 2 SRM4 with 1 ton ammo)
TAG
Active Probe
ECM
Moduels: exstended sensor range,360 target retention, faster data aquisition,Base cap.
Now my intention was for a dedicated recon mech but as it turns out with the ECM and lagshield I can pick off an Atlas while under fire from 4 heavy mechs.
Once the netcode gets improved my build will still work as a recon mech it just won't be the top choice for hunting groups of heavy mechs.
