Just save up for a D DC. It's pretty much the brawler king now if you want to be a big slow tank. Otherwise, get a faster ECM Mech.

It depends entirely on what you want your role to be on the field; both should be good Mechs. Also yes the PA offer gives you 24 hours of premium time, with a button to activate it when you so choose to.

Another question depending on what you want your role to be , but the 1X and 3D are both pretty good variants. And it's 100% free and they should never charge you for anything later on.

Note that the 3D is very expensive to buy and has an XL engine, which is expensive to repair. I've got one in my mechbay though.

I've got an Ilya, 3D and I'm thinking of getting the 2X next because of the missile slots. 2xSRM6 gives good alpha, although I may have to make some compromises to get it in.

This is quite correct, chances of a mod coming in this thread is slim, but the others are not pulling your leg or messing with you. As for the Cata, what is your favorite type of mech? Is it missiles, ac's or laser?

I run the Hero Cata and really enjoy it, a lot of guys in the Rangers like the Cata too, More info is needed to give you a better response.

Run your premium time when you can get the maximum number of hours out of is the best plan. Remember that stock mechs aften suck and will require more cbills to get them where you want to be with the build.

Not sure, but probably through the Holiday. It is perfectly safe, and is authorized.

As to the Cataphract, I reccomend the 2X or the 3D. The 3D is more expensive but I really like the Jump Jets.

On the 2X you can run a 2 medium lasers, 1 large laser, 2 SSRM2s and an AC20 with either a 280 or 270 STD. Powerful punch with that build.

On the 3D I prefer 2 AC10s and 4 medium lasers with a 325XL.

It works like this;

Log in, press the button to claim

Then in game you have a button called "activate". When you press it, THEN your 1 day of premium will activate. You're free to activate it whenever you like.

I suggest you to claim it right now, im not sure if this is a limited offer.

EDIT; And to add up, every phase of it happens on mwomercs.com. Unless you're scared of losing your account to thieves working for PGI, then you should turn away.
