The 6570 got less Power then a 8800gts
A 6670 would be in the Range of a Nvidia 8800gts, but atm below a HD 5770/6770/7770
series i won't recommend the Game
here you may find help:

the Second post explains how to activate costum Configs and the third is a Config for very weak Computers, but without activiating Costum Setups after each patch it won't work.

what i was kinda getting at in the post is for this game (not gaming in general) the "recomended requirements" are less than what i have. Last time i check when you play a game with above recomended requirements it shouldnt be so choppy that it looks like ur staring into a strobe light...
when scout mechs get close to me they litteraly look like they are teleporting around on my screen like Gandalf from LOTR.
I cant and wont believe this is the way the game is supposed to look with above recomended gear running it......

NM, I read that number wrong.
That being said ... the "recommended" is a 5830 which is miles beyond what you have.
http://www.hwcompare...d-6570-oem-1gb/
Their "5600/5700" as "minimum" is really vague ... that's two entire lines of cards.
If it makes you feel any better though, even if you had a $350 (current price) card, the game is still pathetic in the performance department.

Crysis 2 benchmarks. The 6570 exceeds recommended specs for that game and MWO, and is in fact not AMD's answer to the 8800GTS, that's ridiculous, this card came out years after the 8800 series. OP should have no problem playing this game.

I had changed the post before you even quoted it, and have now added to it.
Oh, and ... it's "you're". It's called a contraction, speaking to "intelligent".

I got a HD5670 and a HD6570.. the 5670 got about 20% more Performance than the 6570....
The 6570 has around 10% more than a 5570, but both Cards are below in the Performance
compared to the 5670..
And a 100 USD card would be sufficient. With the 7770 you should be able to play, but you realy should go for the 7870 for 200 USD to play. Or with luck an old 6870 for 130 USD.
The Difference between the 5000 and 6000 Series are only 10% in performance but about 20% in Heat effiency. So a 6570 is about 10% faster then a 5570 but way cooler.
The 6870 is even 5% slower then a 5870... If you don't believe us:
http://www.tomshardw...owest,2871.html
http://www.tomshardw...edium,2872.html
I know that Generic Benchmarks say something different but let it explain it this way:
The more Complex a Game is, the better are the Cards with the more Complex Shader.
The Shader of the 5670 is more Complex then the Shader of the 6570. The 6570 runs faster but when it comes to complex Calculations the Shader is slowed down because he has to Multipass the Commands.
While a deep Shader can still Singlepass it.
Fact is: for Crysis the 5670 is far better then a 6570.
The Recommended Cards the 5770 has around double so much Performance then yours.

I compare the 5670 with the GTX9800 because i owned both Cards and both putted about the same performance. But the GTX9800 hat some more punch when it was demanding. And the 6570 got about the same power in some test, except Crysis as i now know as the 5670...
As i said i own(ed) a 9800GTX ( which is essentiel a 8800gts now lying on the Shelf)
a 5550, a 5570 a 5670 a 5770 a 6550 and a 6570 and a 6870...
so i can give some good comparision on lifing Systems and Performance from day to day...
Some of the 5550 and 5570 i sold because i believe they are great workstation Cards but the 6000s needs less power... making them better Workstation Cards, the 5770 and 5670 fires my both HTPC's.

I'm running at 1440x900 and the game runs nice and smooth. I have a Dell XPS 8300 with a i5-2300 and a Radeon 4670.

I have a i5 2500k, 8 Gb of Ram, and Radeon 6970. I've never had any FPS issues and rarely CTD. I have gotten the heat bug a few times (maybe 5 times) and have only had the rainbow minimap bug once.
Oh and I run with a 1920x1080 on a 27" LED monitor, with "System Specifications" set to very high. I do have motion blur off though. Not sure if that matters or not, afaik off is the default as I don't remember changing it.

Just because something's in the 6000 series doesn't mean it's better than everything in the 5000 series.
Do some research on your cards relative performance before you start complaining.
I'm using an i5 quad and a 460GTX, prior to that I was on a Q6600 quad and a 460GTx. Game ran, dipped as low as 20fps, and my settings were middling to high.
