I was just curious where every one is getting their lore regarding time lines, clans, heroes, ect. Is it just from years playing the TT another iterations or is it mainly sarna or wiki. Are there any other sites I can go to for a more comprehensive read regarding this?

There is entire book series, you can use the basic manuals to get weapon and equipment release dates and such, you can pick up entire packs of premade mechs for reasonable prices as well.
