Right now, every game is pretty much a straight up deathmatch and I don't see it really changing too much with the conquest game mode. It's difficult to really have variety when first contact between the two teams usually leads to one having the advantage which carries over for the rest of the game. On the same hand, I can see adding a respawn system into the game would cause a whole slew of other problems (not to mention how to handle R&R costs). The alternative would be to choose three of your mechs to drop with instead of one. When you die, you'll drop in your second mech as reinforcements at a set time (say a deployment every three minutes or so). This would promote a more defensive playstyle when you're at a disadvantage. The game should probably still end if you manage to wipe out the entire other team, even if they still have mechs in reserve.
