Tough to say, ive ran it with every different loadout i could think of and find a XL200 engine with three streak2's and ECM to be the most effective. I also use endo and DHS.

Depends on what you hope to accomplish in your build. Are you going scout, or are you going harasser?

If you are going scout, then take the TAG and use the missles for emergency defense. If you are going harasser, take the med laser for the extra firepower....

I think that is one of those things that can easily go either way. You'll have to try both and figure it out yourself.

well the light mechs arent made for brawling but its currently a toss up between base rushing and some brawling.

You could always try switching the SSRM2s to one (or better yet, two) SRM4s. That'll let you fire inside ECM and keep TAG. SRMs can do a lot of damage, and switching to something that hits harder per ton might help; you need to keep your aim on target for less time, and you you won't have to deal with SRM range issues since you're going to be engaging at 100-150 meters anyway.

Otherwise, you could always buy both and just swap out one for the other depending on how you feel like playing that day.

If you are running your ecm, you could always counter and still use your streaks...otherwise, the srm4/6 mentioned above is an alternative.
