[Homeless Bill]

What moment, round, or kill has been the best of your MWO experience?

Mine was last round. We're on Caustic, I get the 4FPS bug, so I stay back at base to prevent ninja cap. Three minutes into the round, my entire team has been steamrolled, and they move to capture. I sit beside our base in hopes of retaining my 'mech if they're smart and want more money. Jenner shows up and ignores me.

Then the rest of the team arrives and starts piecing me. Left leg - gone; left arm - gone. Now their whole team is capturing besides a lone Dragon who just keeps shooting my CT. Once I get to red armor, I've had enough, I alpha strike, and he immediately dies. They all open fire. Two seconds later, they've captured base, I have the only kill on the team, and I'm alive. It was the most satisfying slideshow I've ever watched.

Dropping an atlas who was base capping as a non-ecm cicada with no HUD. everyone else on both sides was dead.

I'm in a gausscat. My gauss ammo is gone, I run back to base to save a cap, and I discover an atlas sitting there. I out-brawl him with my 2 small lasers.

In my founder HB4G, armed with AC20, 2Mpl, 2 Machine Gun.

The reason for the MG is seeing how people would laugh at them in the forum, so I tried a little psychology warfare.
Best one so far was in forest map climbing up a hill and run smack into a cat climbing up from the opposite side. Switch to MG and hold the mouse, set speed 1/3 and attempt to circle, feigning as a noob pilot.
The cat look at my pathetic MG and decide to ignore me and continue down the hill.
When I finally reach his back, I let him eat AC20 and killed him.

I made about 30+ of such encounter, 5 pilots have fell for this trick.
most just try put me out of my misery.

Death from above on max distance perfect jump off a mountain onto a catapault that 7 other people were shooting at and about to kill. So perfect I shall remember that moment forever. Hard to do with 1dmg DFA!

I was playing my SRM cat and there was this commando running around shooting me. I couldn't land a hit on him but some other mech had put his CT in the red. One of my buddies shows up and he curves off to start circling him instead since I'm clearly not a threat. At first I figured I would take the chance to run off and shoot at something I can actually hit (I was low on ammo) but I decided to take one last parting shot. I followed his curve, took a guess at where he would be when my missiles arrived and fired a single SRM6. Through pure luck I got it right. The missiles travel about 100m, hit him in the CT, and he goes flying way in a shower of sparks. It was beautiful.

had a game where I popped 3 light mechs in a row with an SRM6 cat, never again shall I achieve the glory of punching through 3 light mechs lag shield in such quick succession.

3 Salvos fired, 3 Light mechs killed.

It was amazing.

Frozen City. A circling Raven 3L decides to run away. First and last mistake, he ran straight away from me and placed Gauss/ER PPC inhis back torso. Explosion and he does a full flip before faceplanting on ground.

Forest Colony. Cataphract died midair from another Gauss/ER PPC salvo and dropped like a rag. Later got a Commando with a snapshot, Gauss thru the head and pop he goes. Most memorable kills are on lights as so hard to hit.

River City
I had a Red Icon, short range coming around a building. I stopped aimed and as a Jenner ran past the building BAM. Alpha strike kill from my Founders Atlas!

River City (again)
Moving to River City lower city I was out in the water with part of my team, we were set upon by Some Smoke Jaguars. I fired on a couple 'em with my team, had a fresh contact. Hit the "R" and saw an Atlas. Spun, targeted, Alpha struck from my Founders in his head. Killed the Khan. Sweeter still is that in some fan fic I wrote with the BattleCorps My character Joe was(Will be) present when Prince Victor beheads The Jag Khan! So just a lil bit of Irony that I got to behead the same Clans Khan myself... During Beta. When the time comes I hope to be present when The true event happens as I wrote 4-6 years ago!

i have 2 spactacular...

1st, when collision where still on i smash a cored jenner going backwards with my catapult and kill him (lolololol)

2dn, with my beloved CTF-3D i alphastrike wile running but i was not really precise so torso ammo finish the cored AWESOME and the other gauss headshotted a Centurion almost in line with him...double kill ahahahhaha

p.s. and i really like when commando explodes running down the side of the Crater in caustic, they really jump down far far away ahahhah

I can't decide between a game with 8 kills (no Streak, SRM, AC20 or Gauss Catapult used) and a Jenner jumping in my field of view, just to get blasted into pieces by an AC20 round of my Atlas.
Also quite nice was my first and only 1hit headshot kill of a Commando who thought nobody would see him ^^

I'm 2 days in the game, still super green. I'm in a trial hunchback, and my entire team wipes, while wiping 7 of the opposing team. So there's me and a catapult doing the texas two step round and round my base doing our best to land shots on each other. This goes on for a good 90 seconds... round and round... laser, missle, laser, missle-- and I finally pop his CT. You'd have thought my favorite team won the Superbowl. Had to go out for a smoke... it was damn near better than sex.

At the very least, you've found a legit use for the MG... skill camouflage I know this could work on me... if I hear the pings of a MG, I could very well switch targets without looking closely. I've laughed at MG Hunchies in the past... never again!

My first kill came after about 2 days of play as well. I'll never forget it. I jumped up out of my chair and yelled to the wife "I got a kill! WOOHOO!" I think sometimes folks forget that this is a challenging game for folks who come in late and are forced to deal with skilled opposition

My most hilarious moment and thus maybe the best (because I play to have fun after all) was drive-by headshooting two jenners in a row on forest colony with my 6 MPL CDA. I don't remember it all just that I ran up the valley parallel to the cave up to C4.

The first jenner ran towards me down at the start of that valley I shot and he went boom, then the second came towards me up in C4 and again I ran into him shot and he was dead. They both were pretty pissed in chat afterwards calling me a cheater.

For kills, the most satisfying was taking out a Catapult and Awesome, in a one-legged Jenner. My teammates had called "gg" - Cat was at half health, the Awesome was at 78%. I wish I had video'd that one.

But I recently took a 2xUAC/5 2xAC/2 CTF out for a spin, first map with him. In Caustic, I held off seven enemy mechs for five minutes with suppressing fire. No kills, but keeping them hiding out was just awesomely fun. I guess one of them finally checked the players list and noticed I was the only person left alive on my team, so they rushed me.

My favorite so far was actually a series of kills.

On Frozen City my team and I engaged the enemy around the ridge where the ship is. The battle was fierce, and in the end my team had only two of us left while the other team had five. I lost track of my teammate that was left, but saw a nice long line of the enemy mechs marching almost single file towards my base.

So I run up behind them and fire everything at the last guy in line in his right torso (which was nice and open). It pops and ammo blows, destroying him. I line up on the next mech in the line and found a vulnerable section of torso and blow him away. And right on down the line I went... *WOMP* *WOMP* two more drop. I reach the base, where a commando is circling my teammate in a pretty damaged Atlas. The little guy stops to take a shot at the back of my teammate and just as he fires, I blow the cockpit right off his mech and we win.

The whole thing from the ridge to the final commando kill happened in about 30-40 seconds or so. I don't even think any of them saw me.
