Enthusiastic but excessively awkward?

There's that dangling feeling that you could change what you know to be a collision course with a supernova if you only risked bumping heads.

Then, before you know it, you're making excuses for why you're on a retro binge. It's like moving forward, towards something new, is more painful than going back to the old stomping grounds.

I'm in for the long haul. Its been 10 years since there was a Mechwarrior game, this is all we have right now and probably all we will ever get. Does it mean I have to be constantly happy about the state of the game? Nope.
  • There are many glaring issues that will turn away new players and make playing dull for normal players.
  • The bugs that impact all players and lead to repeated frustration, by not allowing them to at least play in a normal way.
  • The way features are implemented and developed incrementally doesn't sit well with most people.
  • The way incremental improvements are made, but the more issues arise, the less frequent these improvements happen.
  • The ridiculously small maps and current "brawler-ish" game play.
  • The communication mood swings. Consistent information & interaction is key, no one expects a developer to be cool and friends with everyone, all people want is some basic interaction and enlightenment about what is going on.
  • Everyone wants this game to succeed, worrying and suffering at the slightest indication that this may not be the case. Removing valid questions and discussions about the state and future of the game will not remove these worries but rather increase them.

You're skewing my results!

You call this Patient? With a Beta?

I've been a member for over a year, played/tested since... June or July. You are in a partial game! You were expecting more than what you got. That I understand. But this is a Beta product.

21% is... really low...

I was initially going to wait for 30 unique responses but I think I'm just gonna go weep quietly instead.
