I'd definitely rip off the LRM-15, yank out the SRM launcher and the machine guns. I'd throw a PPC into the Large Laser slot, upgrade the Medium Lasers to ER Mediums, use the rest of the weight for jump jets and double heat sinks and go to town baby... Thing would be beast.

up close the war hammer cant really ppc it with the srm6 +med lasers the tbolt has more flexability and better alpha in the LL.
imho.
oh yeah warhammer 10 tons of armour
t bolt 13 tons armour
as we know armour is 16 pts per ton waeapon avg 4points per ton.
of course lucky hits it may go warhammer
doubles are in i imagine serial production in 3041 according to sarna seems right

oh and its super funny to think that the LRM 15 in the tabletop dose ALLWAYS 15 damage to the SAME zone ... good lol guys ...
you have bigger spread with the damage of the t-bolt than with 2 massive 10 damage hits (not to mention that you have to roll for piloting each turn you get hit from both ppc's)

If it doesn't mount JJs by default, I'm -pretty sure it can't in MWO. I'll need to go find that quote though.
Honestly though, You would have a cheaper Overhall just taking a grasshopper and replacing the LRM5 with an SRM4. You get 4/6/4, 4ML, LL, SRM4. and the same 13 tons armor
And I would have voted for the Thug. 4/6/0, 19 HS, 2PPC, 2SRM4, 14.5 Tons armor

It has more armor and handles heat better has similar punch at distance (Lrg Laser and LRM 15) to the warhammer. So with similar damage output plus more armor and better heat managment the T-Bolt has the edge in stand off ranged exchanges.

The Thunderbolt is a better brawler, but lacks the single location punch of the Warhammer PPCs.

No kicking in MWO, you say? Well there aren't any Warhammers or Thunderbolts either. Solve THAT problem first and I'll be so happy that I'll forget about the other part.

This means the 'Hammer has to alternate from two to one PPC or suffer a movement of 3/5 following the second consecutive round. Therefore, assuming hits for three rounds the T-bolt will average 17 points of damage times 3 rounds = 51 damage while the WarHammer will cause 50 points of damage but be at 4 heat at the end of the round. Pretty close, huh. Only issue here is that the Thunderbolt has 48 points more armor than the Warhammer. Close up the WarHammer has one less Med Laser but two small lasers plus its MG are not on an arm like the T-bolt. The SRM-6 outclasses the SRM-2 obviously but the key factor in one of my fights was that I could wild a tree as a club - the WarHammer could not.

However this is one on one only. 4 Warhammer would probable beat 4 Thunderbolts.

WHM-6D makes up the armour and heatsink problem at the expence of close range ability.
Level 2 and modified mechs will change the odds.
I would rather take a ride in a Thunderbolt or an Orion than a Warhammer or a Marauder.
