For battlefield immersion and aesthetic pleasure, add more static and mobile civilian and non-mech military personnel and vehicles to the maps.

Some day, perhaps all these additional civilians, civilian vehicles, military personnel and non-mech military vehicles can be made dynamic (destructible) by players.

Yes, I'm talking about air-raid sirens; people (in proper scale to the maps) running for cover; abandoned civilian vehicles; abandoned military vehicles; destroyed civilian vehicles and military hulks; vehicles that have been crushed under foot by mechs and by fallen buildings.

In addition, there would be the weather sweeping dust (like we have now); slowly drifting smoke, and residual fires scattered around the map.

For the mechwarriors, it should feel like Godzilla visits smoking Tokyo; perhaps late for the party ("Uh, whatever happened here, I think we missed it.").

The more immersive the MWO battlefields, the more hypnotized your subscribers.

The maps should be so beautifully littered with sensible and predictable warfare debri, it would be a joy just to sit and breathe it in.

It would be nice for immersion but it would probably break all the low end systems
