I'm sure the same people click on Fox News when they get home after work. (Or emerge from their parents basement for some Mountain Dew.)

The only "followers" I know are the ones on CNN/ABC/MSNBC, they also drink the coolaid.

Some people will deny any evidence that flies in the face of what they want to believe, you know like an icon stating something is beta...
If the people making they game say, "This is a Beta, it isn't finished yet." then I am going to assume they are considering it a beta and not finished yet.

Gotta admit this one made me laugh.
However some one explain to me what the difference is between current "MWO OB" and MWO with consistent patchng? IMHO the Beta is thrown in there as this game NEEDS ALOT of WORK. And the money is not their in a closed beta to make the changes needed and the manpower going. A period of approximately 2 weeks to a month I can understand for an Open Beta to get the masses in and stress the heck out of it. But I am sorry I have yet to see why this is being called a beta when it is in fact live and everyone can access it without incident.
I am not trolling but trying to understand.

Minecraft.
Minecraft fits this model. Was open to the public. Took money while still in Beta. Was in Beta FOREVER (1 years I believe, Alpha before that). Constantly added content while in Beta (and even after release). Heck, even Notch only took it out of Beta status because Minecon was coming up so he thought...why not call it a release to coincide with Minecon??
I'm not going to debate the finer points of Beta vs. Release, but I can say that I found one valid example. Only difference is that Minecraft is now considered released, who knows how PGI will determine that in the future.
