Can't take a hit without loosing arm. Pretty much feel useless.

What are you guys running?

Thinking of switching back to regular 235 engine and ac20

or maybe throw a uac5 on

I switch it between a Gauss and an AC/20.

Depending on how horrible my last match went with it.

Just a very situational gun, the Gauss is. Need a decent (and distant) line of sight for it to not blow up on you.

The Gauss is a sniper rifle, shouldn't run into close range combat with it.

Yeah I know, just sucks when other meds / lights get up in my face.

Gone in seconds.

Personally I stay away from a single UAC/5, I jam it from being trigger happy.

AC/20 is good for close ups, but not long range.

AC/10 is decent of both worlds, so is the AC/5. Dependent on your heat situation and preferred damage output in a single shot versus reload time and tonnage.

I use dual AC2s in my Wang arm. Surprisingly effective.

Guass is just a big "kill me" flag on the YLW now. I've had better results with the AC20.

Heh, you say your Wang hurts?

I don't even know what to do with my HBK-4H now.

I always wondered what's the point of using a gauss or any "small" ballistic on a YLW.
(except for the c-bill bonus)

The only strength of the YLW is it's ability to mount for 10 slots of ballistic on its arm (instead of 9 on other variants), if you don't use it you're doing it wrong.
If you want anything else than an AC20 or twins UAC5s on a centurion go for a CN9-A or a CN9-D, the lower arm activator gives much more lateral mobility and the overall hardpoints are better than on the Wang.

ENDO, DHS, FF, 250 Standard, ac20 with 4t of ammo, 2 mlas.

- has torso twist equivalent to the other cents max arm movement which makes you the best zombie centurion
- can elevate the ac20 like no other mech in the game
- ac20 gets buffed tomorrow
- ff gets buffed tomorrow as there are no more repairs

Great idea! Although you do have to shave the armor a little bit though. Just tried this build and I had to take both legs down to 40 and a little off the shield arm. Other than that, fantastic build. Gives you the fire power and the speed you need.

Alright, so I`ve been using the Wang since it came out, and i average at least 3 kills a good match and one on a bad. It runs bit expensive, but its definetly worth it.

Max Armor- FF
AC20
2 Medium Lasers
220 XL Engine - Top speed 71 or 75 with elite skills.
AMS

I keep 6 tons of AC20 ammo, and 1 ton of AMS in my right shoulder. Makes protecting from ammo crit shots easier. It`s a bit tricky with the XL as a brawler, but the aditional armor, elite skills which are worth getting, and a little tactical thinking, allows me to take on even SRM Cat brawlers. It`s a fantastic fit and i havent changed it since i made it when the Wang first came out. If your goin with guass, just replace the AC20 with it along with the ammo. I play that as more a support and stick back with it. And if you do use gauss, remember its a Centurian whose arms are blown off easily, so protect that arm, use your shield arm to deflect shots too. It can take a dual guass shot and stay on, so its worth it. Just remember protect protect protect that arm.

Ehhhh, I don't know about sticking an XL in the Wang. Especially one that only offers marginal speed. If all you are gaining is AMS and 2 more tons of ammo, I think it would be better to stick with the 250 STD and keep the speed/side cores. But hey, if it works for you, it works for you.

If you REALLY need to xl it than get advantage of its speed. Never use FF before you use Endo.

- DHS, Endo
- 280xl
- 2mplas
- ac20 with 4t of ammo
- fill up with heatsinks

Does 97.x km/h which makes it the 2nd fastest medium after the CN9-D (Cicadas are big lights imho).

Cicadas are just fat wanabe jenners to me. They only bring two things now over the Jenner, ballistics and ecm. I was really hoping their armor would be increased. Its kinda sad, most of their models have less armor than the Jenner light mech.

You could try the Zech's Zombie Wang build.
http://mwomercs.com/...he-yen-lo-wang/
2 med pulses in your center torso and then a really big engine so you go 90 kmph + max armor. Who cares if your arm gets blown off.

the YLW is a top notch brawler, no reason to use it as a sub par sniper. Your left arm and torso are Ablative armour Shoot, turn, shoot, turn, shoot, turn, always face your left side to your enemy unless your taking a shot.

Actually I've been noticing that AC20's seem to be just a fragile now. Though from what I've seen brawling gaussapults and guassafracts seem to be doing fine.
