Unable To Pick Elite Founder Mech

I have been wanting to give Piranha my money since they introduced the founder plan. But sadly for me i actually closed the select a Mech window, thinking i could get back to it later in the day. But as i found out that was not the case, each time i click the buy button on the Elite option, i just get the payment window popping up.

Am i still the only one left on this stinking boat? or are others having this same issue too.

Sorry if there has been a topic about this before, i tried searching but i didn't really find anything.

Got a reply from support after emailing them.

Update 2:


We've implemented a solution for this, simply log on to the mwomercs.com website and proceed to the Founder's Package area. From there you should be able to adjust your Mech selection. I'll mark this ticket as solved, but if you are unable to make the change for whatever reason, please reply to this message and we'll go from there.

Its a known issue. You are stuck with the mech you selected for now.

I too haven't seen your issue talked about. But I'm sure they would know about something like this. Did you actually pay for the order though? You do not have an Elite tag on your name. If you weren't charged for the order, then I don't think you actually bought it. I didn't buy Elite so I don't know if selecting a Mech is required to complete the order or not.

No, i didn't buy anything yet. When they launched the Founders program, i saw it late at night around 2. So i click it it and the Mech selection window popped up, and i was able to select one. But i didn't click any of them cause, i was too tired to even think about which one to get. So i though oh well i will do this tomorrow instead.

But so my surprise i wasn't able to get that Mech select window back up. Only the payment window. And i really don't want to pay the money without selecting a Mech first. Probably not a big deal to most people, but still.

I think you dont get the point Bluten, I got the same problem. I clicked on elite pack to look at it and it asked me to choose a mech, since i wasnt sure about which mech to choose yet, i closed that window. I have not purchased anything yet. But if I want to purchase the elite pack now, it wont let me choose a mech. Its set to which ever mech i clicked on before i left the screen.
Thus I cant choose a mech now, all that happens is "please pay" but i cant choose the mech. Thats basically the reason why i havent purchased the elite pack yet. :wub:

Could be wrong, but isnt that sort of info stored cookie wise? wouldn't clearing your cookie, or cache solve this issue?

Try deleting your cache. That may clear the page's memory of your selection and allow you to start the process from the beginning.


I had the same thing happen to me, only I managed to complete the payment process before realizing something was amiss. I should probably contact support.

I have cleaned every thing, and tried multiple browsers, windows and mac.

The whole site is whitelisted, an no ad blocker is running on it.

Aren't Elites allowed to change their Mech choice after purchasing though? I read something about that but I can't remember what it was. If you are able, you could simply finish the purchase then change your Mech selection.

If the mech you picked is stored server side and based on your account, you'll have no choice but to contact support. I would have thought it would be a cookie and deleting cookies/cache and restarting the browser would have fixed it, but you claim to already have done that, so...

Indeed. Also tried installing Opera a browser i have never used before. And doesn't appear there either. So i have tried Safari, firefox, chrome and now Opera on Mac.

On Windows i tried, IE, Firefox, Chrome.

So i think its safe to say its not browser related. And i have cleared each browser for cookies and cache.
