this was quite surprising to see on the patch notes for sure... this decision kinda makes the game feel arcade like... Repairs/Rearm should be part of MWO... and the same goes for Salvage, I would rather pick apart dead Mechs in my scrap yard, rather than just getting an automatic C-Bill reward... both of these ads to the realism of the game...

also, servers still down. they said they'd be up by now. they lied. sorry for raging. in fact, after reading some other opinions, I am starting to agree with this decision, especially with all of the balancing issues it fixes and possibly less suicides. once again, sorry for raging. i'm good now.

I am actually playing this game, i didn't always repair and never rearm anything with streaks, LRM or god forbid artemis. I'm on mechwarrior since the the 80s, i'm definitely no casual gamer. Yet i always hated any iteration of R&R in MWO since they work against many of the other core principles.

alright, alright. I'm being unreasonable. this will stop all of the surrenders and scaredy-matches, R&R belongs in single-player games.

A bright member of our community suggested that they are playing around with the different community warfare economical models:
* No R&R is like being with a House unit. The House pays for all R&R.
* 25% R&R (like we had until today) is like being with a Merc company; they take care of most of it, but not all
* 100% R&R would be like being a Lone Wolf.

Whether true or not, it's an interesting theory.

If that's true... good show, PGI, good show.

Either way, it's a idea good enough to steal.

Do you also want to buy a whole new mech every time you lose? because... if you like realism.. we can go there.

So now that there is no R/R cost, another argument against Respawning is removed. They should have just made Conquest mode the respawn mode.

Hahaha :P

I'm actually playing and I actually asked for this. Better to reward based on performance than penalize based on build choice IMHO!
