Hi there.

After finding out about tubes i tried to read up what i found to maximize my 5m missle-boat, but this whole thing does not seem to make much sense...

Most times people say that the 5M got 10,6,7,10 tubes. So, when i put lrm15 in the arms and lrm 10 in both torsos, shouldnt they fire in 2 volleys? They dont seem to though...

Or should i just not really care about volleys and just maximize the missiles?

lastly, someone wrote something along the lines that when you put 2 lrm15 in the side torso they would use the tubes simultanously, this true?

btw, i know that the 5M might not have been my best choice, and my spare xl machine doesnt make it much better, but beware my 4 mediumlasers!

The 5M's left torso has two missile slots, but it contains one six tube launcher and one one tube launcher. This is far from ideal for LRM volleys. If equipped with two LRM 15s, you'd fire a volley of 6+1, then 6+1, then 3+1, then a bunch of sequential singles. The additional missile slot is a narc tube, and ill-suited to LRMs.

lrm15s in the arms and lrm10s in the sides should fire in two volleys (a volley of 22 then a follow-up of the remaining 18) but this will be interrupted by the missile bay doors on the Stalker's arms. If the doors are closed, you'll fire an even more staggered volley because the doors impart an additional fire delay. You can manually open the doors with / or try putting two lrm20s in the arms (giving you an even 20 +20 staggered volley)
