i'm the last one i think, i pug and use a sniper cause i'm too busy to sort out 8v8 teamplay, plus i've never liked the shouting of TS in my headphones. mostly you won't find aussies and the like cause the serves are very poor to us. avoiding brawl play like a plauge because of the lag, and i guess many aussies consider the game unplayable for it. however i like mechwarrior and i want to see this right down to the end. hoping the end isn't anytime soon :)

Since they have strategically removed the user count in mechlab, it's safe to say that the amount of people actually playing is fairly low.

I know the TS channel isn't an accurate way to assume this as many people are using other TS channels, but still, it's low most of the time.

I'd be surprised if it actually peeks 1k at "normal" hours.

Would be so much easier if they allowed people to drop with 7 :)

Not a single 8v8 at this time, gg this game. Maybe another piece of cockpit swag will save it?

I mean ya, many could be doing dual 4V4 sync drops and less 8 man.

Everyone was doing 5,6,7 man when it was easy to get in the larger matches.

So much wasted time trying to get 8 man teams running for more than 2-3 matches.

So why not make a small change to the different queues:

current :
1. 1-4 man
2. 8-man (only 8 man which is hard to pull together)

Alternative:

1. Single only (no premades)
2. Premade with back fill. Pugs who queue here know they will back fill into premade.
3. Challenge matches for real 8-mans for competitive clan wars.
