I have recently seen a poll showing how many people would be willing to pay actual money to have ecm returned to tt rules.
first let me say do not feed the monster. if you say things like this you are putting stupid ideas into the mind of the maniac that needs to feed.
second we are unpayed employees of pgi. we are performing a necessary service to pgi one that is essential toward the creation of this game, one that they can not afford to have done any other way.
third many of you have already paid a good deal of money for the privilige of working for pgi in its game testing division as beta testers. the beta test may be open but it is still a beta test.
fourth if you want to show pgi where that its pocket book can be affected do it with negative reinforcement. i.e. go on strike when they put something into the game that is extremely bad and ruins the game play experience. take two weeks off until the next patch then play the game and see if they fixed it.
we may no longer be able to see how many people are playing but I garauntee they can still see how many people are playing. the decline in player base is the most effective way of showing how displeased you are with changes to the game. however dont forget to give it a new chance on the next scheduled patch it dont help if you stop playing completely but offering pgi money to fix things that they know need to be fixed is only giving them ideas on how to increase their income from a test. "wow these guys really want us to go back to something else. lets see how much money they will offer us if we screw this section up, wow thats a lot of money ok new policy we try everything no matter how silly the change may be so that we can make more money from the dedicated fans that will pay us to take it out."
we have all already seen that they put more time and effort into creating things to sell us than they do in fixing the bugs that we all know and hate.
so in conclusion do not feed the monster do not offer to pay to have things set right test the game for them because we want the best game possible because everyone of us loves the battletech univers or none of us would actually continuously test this engine for them with out pay. do it because we want the rest of the game playing world to love battletech as much as we do. and when they really screw the ballance up like they did with ecm dont offer to pay them to fix it just stop playing it till they do. I am on the verge of saying I have done all the testing I am willing to do until they put planet capture and community warfare in. Im not there yet but soon.

You honestly lost me as soon as you said "Unpaid employees" which leads me to believe you're a child with no job. Playing a game isn't a job... even when you post bugs on the forums... still isn't a job.
You lost all credibility.
