So, with that being said... Developers I have noticed a big difference with the AC/2 - AC/10. Even the 20 isn't rocking as hard as before. THANK YOU!!
However.... lil tiny x1.8 missles are still causing the earthquake simulator mode in this game.
We didn't forget to fix this did we?
Ok, here is the original post stating that all weapons were under review and that cockpit shake was out of control... earthquake simulator was used.... It is the 4th post down.

I know this sounds too good to be true but...
I've just finished a quick pass at how much the screen shakes for all weapons. I showed the results to Bryan and he was like "OMG this isn't an earthquake simulator!". So I went back and tuned the numbers down to something more respectible and they seem to be a lot better.
The amount of screen shake will be reduced quite a bit. The only "big" hit will be from the AC/20.

They only stated they were doing it for ACs (2 5 10 and ultra5) last patch. No change was made to missiles or AC/20.

AC20 should shake you like a rag doll.

If you played in early CB you would be happy with the way it is now.
And yes, 2 Ac 20's should probably have a chance of knocking the target down, but we won't go there.

I understand what the patch notes said. I read somewhere from a dev post that missiles should shake as much as an AC/2. So far that has not happened....

I don't personally notice much difference in the shake that AC/2 are doing to me even after last patch... maybe it's just me.
I also thought that smoke was being adjusted as well, maybe that's not in yet, though.

Scroll down, about halfway through the first page. I asked about this in a thread in suggestions, which is where stuff like this should go and gets read/answered.
The question I asked was specifically about autocannons, but the solution is being implemented for all weapons.
EDIT: direct quote.
Also, not a bad idea to do a quick search before starting a new thread, there are multiple pages of threads for "weapon shake" already.

The new screenshake code was only finished nov 29th. It should go live Dec 18th then. We may have reduced the values a little but they are not in any way correct right now. Sorry for the confusion.
As I've stated before the new equation will be SCREENSHAKE = impulse * damage.

Wow, mega-nerfing guided missiles into oblivion wasn't enough, huh? Now you've got to get rid of the last aspect of the weapon system that actually does anything at all?!
What weapons do you use, lasers or ballistics? I just want to know since once they remove missiles entirely, you guys will be whinging about the remaining weapons you don't use, and I'd hate to switch to them only to find the devs nerfing them out of the game as you people carry on about how it's unfair that any weapons but the ones you use are good for anything.
