I just had a thought on the ECM, and I ma sure I am not alone.

One of my biggest issues with the ECM right now is that it protects mechs from missile lock, but that mech can run around with a bunch of streak srms and have no issues.

Personally, I think if the ECM affected everyone (both teams) the same way it would be ok. Why would and ECM only scramble the targetting system of my opponents but not my own team? Please don't say it is a different frequency. In a world where we have the technology to pilot giant robots and shoot lasers at each other, MUST be able to change the frequency of my targeting. If the ECM prevented missile lock in a bubble: friend or foe, i wouldn't have an issue

I believe i read that the intention of the ECM was to make the target locking take longer not prevent it altogether. This might be a better option. I am just throwing in my two cents and trying to weather the ECM storm. I have been in many unplayable matches due to the ECM nonsense. Please do something fast .
