I didn't report it as a bug, I stated facts:

The tooltip promises ten percent.

Math shows 7.5%.

Simple question - which is correct?

Sounds like you used the support ticket system and got an answer from an IGM employee.....

So which is correct 7.5 or 10%? or did they neglect to answer that part? ;)

10% is correct, 7.5% is the known issue and what's in the game.

Unless you're already up against the speed cap, yes.

You can't get a hunchie even close to the speed cap. Not sure about Dragons, but I don't think you can get those to the netcode cap either. Both of those chassis should be able to take full advantage of speed tweak, even with their largest possible engine installed.

there are only two reason this bug should still exit.

1. Its hard coded and they cant find that line of code...

2. they do not feel like taking 10 minutes to fix the bug.

may be over simplifying a bit, but if its that hard to fix something like this they are in serious trouble...

either way its not a good sign...

Shoo! Git! Back under your bridge!

You don't think they might have deemed it less important than some other fixes? It's not like it's in any way game-breaking; in fact I'm sure most people don't even notice the difference between 7.5% and 10%.

I got a quality survey not five minutes after starting this post. THey answered my question yesterday.

I let em have it. Politely.

They completely failed to answer my question. Like I said, I didn't phrase it like a bug report, I phrased it like 'I know this is screwed up, which figure are you going with?' I fully assume they will stick with 7.5, but the drone didn't know and couldn't get higher clarity.
