Now is that means it will counter the closest enemy Mech regardless if it has ECM or not?

Or should it read:

ECM will now fully counter only the closest enemy Mech with ECM disrupt mode.

Someone from PGI please clarify.

From my understanding;

ECCM could counter your own teams ECM. Players who were using Counter ECM would null their own team's ECM bubble.

This should prevent that.


That, or ECM will now work much like ECM in Eveonline, where you only jam one target at a time. but i doubt it.

DISRUPT mode is the one that messes up targeting information. COUNTER mode is the one that disables disrupt mode on enemy ECM.

I think this is a buff to ECM spam as written. :-)

It needs some clarification regardless as this could be a big change or negligible depending on interpretation.
