Don't know what you guys are smoking... I went from 15-25 FPS down to 5-15 FPS, and now the game is practically unplayable for me.

So, how come this patch has given some people an insane FPS boost and yet others an FPS crash?

Looks like you and I are having the same problem - what's you setup?

Thing do seem to be moving a lot faster and the lag shied seem not to be so bad this update.

I try to us my commando and got wasted a lot faster. zipping past the big boy is a lot more riskier this update.
Good work PGI and thank you.

SOLVED:
Changing shadows from low to vhigh fixed this issue for me - back to getting 50fps.

I have everything set to 'very high' (v-sync is off) and I'm getting 10fps LESS (max of 17fps) than before patch. Although my CPU utilization is only at 65% and GPU utilization is around 75%.

This game is broken big time. It seems the patch gave a boost to low end system performance, but broke higher end systems. That's about on par for what I've seen and continue to expect from PGI.

It was actually kinda creepy how smoothly things were animating after the patch.

I mean, they still weren't taking damage worth 2 PUGs, but when things did explode and the action heat up, it was butter smooth.

That is an unintentionally hilarious bottleneck.

Not nearly as much as running a dual core.

Maybe so, but he should at least try overclocking it.

Not every single person who visits the web is capable, wanting or informed of overclocking.

So you're telling me the guy with a GTX 670 is not informed of overclocking?

Faster sytems and procesors run the same software, faster. (All things being equal) In this case I believe PGI changed up some of the models to make them more efficient, and that should make the game faster regardless of what system you have.

If your game is running slower, there is a near 100% chance either your patch was installed corrupted, or you need to empty the cache folder.
