Is it just me, or does Betty now kinda sound like she has a lisp?

I think they sped up her speech, but yeah, kind sounds like she has a lisp going on, especially when she says "base is being captured"

I swear it sounds like she has aspergers or something. Every word seems to be spoken separately; to be honest this is one of the worst, if not THE worst, sounding voice notification I have ever heard. Microsoft Sam sounds better than this ****...

instead of having her do the voice again, i think they sped it up artificially ... so it sounds kind of stupid. i preferred the old slow voice.

Betty sounds nothing like me, so I believe you're mistaken in your ignorant generalization of people on the autism spectrum.

I noticed the sped up voice.. I don't like it.
I understand the tihnking behind it, make it faster so you get the warning quicker, because often there's a lot of stuff getting announced.

...

But they could have done a better job. Anyways. I really liked the old BB better. I was thinking "Wonder what she would sound like a bit faster"
Now that I know, comparatively I do not like it. I turned her off until it's back.

EDIT:

The whole game is running faster. My Raven used to run 146. now it's 150.3.... sounds are faster, BB talks faster. I run faster. my mech responds quicker.... The engine sound is faster.

what's going on.

The only problem I have with it is that the weapon noises drown her out, so you can't really catch what she is saying all of the time. Otherwise, I'm glad it's in... perhaps I'm on Mars or something.

really? I had no such issue. My commando ran 136.1 with an xl 210 engine before and after unless you add the speed tweak elite pilot unlock.

The speed tweak is now functioning at 10% (instead of the prior 7.5%).

Its better than no betty.

However it could be better.

I'm not knocking caroles (is that spelt right ?) voice acting at all (tho pgi could have given her more content to record...... :) ....or maybe they did and its just not in yet.....?) , infact im grateful she even did it in the first place, just betty seems to be missing something......like some sort of effect or something...........and some parts could possibly be worded better........again that is no fault of caroles at all tho....... :)

I like the Betty, very cool and nostalgic.

I just wish she voiced the mech startup routine from MW2 or MW3. Then it would be perfect.

I wish it sounded like it was on an old crappy radio speaker. This version of BB is just too soft and bland...

In previous games, her voice sounded slightly more electronic. Right now, she's just a straight recording, I think.
