it sure would be nice to be abe to fire my small lasers on a light pull of my joystick then my more powerful lasers when i fully depress my trigger. i wonder if they will include such an option.

not to be a dick..... but the devs probably have more important things to do, this is something that would only affect a small percentage of players.

If your JS just has a simple single action switch in it I highly doubt it.If it only has one micro switch it is either on or off with no way to fire two weps seperate from each other.

If you have a JS like the X52 for example it will be a peice of cake because it does have two switches in the trigger, first one clicks at half pull, the other at full pull.Even is the game itself does not support it all you have to do is use the JS software to map each stage of the trigger to what weapons group you will use.

Its an odd question. How can they include something like that in the game. Either you have a two stage trigger on your joystick or you don't. Nothing the game does can affect that. As the previous poster said if you have it you map it to whatever functions you want .. If you don't you are sol.

If your joystick supports it, then you can just map those controls yourself. If it doesn't, the devs can't do anything for you :/

well you learn something new everyday. i know that you either have a two stage or you dont, maybe the way i worded my statement was a bit off.
i have a x52 pro so i should be ok.
when i said "support" i meant support it in the internal key mapping of the game. but since i can program custom profiles for it i guess it doesnt matter.

I plan on making my second click the "FIRE EVERYTHING!"/Alpha Strike button. Or just have it as Fire Group 6 and put all my weapons on it.

If your HOTAS is programmable, I'm sure you could program it yourself to do this, assuming they allow grouping of weapons and each group can be bound to a different key on the keyboard. If this is so, it is simple, as stage one would reference one key and stage two would reference another key plus the previous key, each bearing a hold statement of course.

I have an X52 and do that already - just bind the two trigger buttons to two separate weapon groups. Be aware that if you want to fire second weapon group you need to fire the first one and that there is a slight delay when firing.
