I want to put a picture of my better half in there somewhere, remind me to stop fighting every now and then to change the laundry over.

This would be an amazing touch. Let us upload personal pics to tag on the inside of our cockpits. You do not even have to worry about anything being offensive, as you are the only one who would see it. I would pay real money to have this ability. It adds a personal touch that a unlockable cockpit bobble head and fuzzy dice cannot compete with. Someone make sure the developers hear this idea. Maybe you should repost in the suggestion board.

I demand a neurohelmet that holds twin beer cans.

It would be a nice touch :) Nothing but fluff but helps increase the immersion, for me at least.

I'm sure the devs will come through and see this as well.

We just need to get more good ideas into here.

A calender with pinups on it would be pretty neat, if generic. I really want pictures of loved ones in my cockpit. It'll really add to the effect of all the youtube gameplay videos people are going to put out.

I'd pay for a space age spitton and a tin/pouch of chew somewhere on the dash of my Atlas.

I'd really like little options that would let me personalize my cockpit.

-Kill marks on one of the bulkheads.
-A little "NO" sticky note on the ejection lever.
-Maps taped around the edges of the radar.
-A BattleMech silhouette poster.

There's just so many possibilities, and I'd be willing to drop some change for them.

I think this is a great idea. Would greatly increase immersion, because I would do this if I had a real mech. Something I would pay for.

Definitely need this in suggestions.

Bonus points if it has all 12 months and changes based on the server clock. Hello Miss December.

Alright, I guess I'll take it over there.

Maybe they'll merge the threads later.

Funny thing is, an Inner Sphere 'mech, barring one or two exceptions *cough*Stinger*cough* is roomy enough to have a small fridge, hotplate, and, if in a heavy or assault-grade 'mech, even a fold-out cot behind the piloting couch for long days on the campaign trail. So, while what we may 'see' of the cockpit is only what's through the viewports and immediate surroundings, the actual cockpit of a big 'mech like the Awesome or Atlas is, size-wise, closer to a motel bathroom.

Pity the poor clanners; they don't even have a chemical toilet in their machines, so if they have to go, their option is to hold it or mess themselves. Maybe that explains why they're so cranky? :)

Yeah, but I don't really want my teammates going to the can to stare at their pinup calendar during a combat scenario, which should probably be the only time you're in your mech.

I wouldn't put up many things like that in a cockpit. With something like this I'd customize it to what I would see myself using in a mech cockpit. Which would most likely be a couple drinks, and maybe a book. Oh, and probably my DS haha. And if were to go this far, a little figurine or drawing on the inside itself; of Zero or Vile from Mega Man X.

I would love to be able to fill a cockpit with junk. If anyone has been on the inside of a humvee that have been around the block a few times you know how much **** builds up in there, even if it is only used for convoys. I would assume the same thing for tankers or just about any other military vehicle. I would expect to find old maps, notes, food wrappers, ash trays, water bottles, chew bottles, **** bottles(given the cockpit has no toilet) and more. If all the junk in my 'mech fell off when it fell over and went off screen as I righted the mech would be a really cool touch.
