Modify Reward System For Conquest

The Devil Dogs were doing 8-man conquest matches last night and after a couple fail attempts we figured a pretty good was of going about it. One of the issues though is the lack of reward (XP or Cbills) for capping in conquest. Our strat utilized a fast light mech to run around the map to harass and recapture the bases. Because he needed to stay alive at all costs he refused to engage in battle. He was one of the most important members of the team but got very little XP or Cbills cause of no cap rewards.

There needs to be some type of reward for capturing in conquest as it is the point of the match. Otherwise it dissolves into a death match

even the resource bonus is only worth up to 18k, which is a splash in the ocean compared with the kill/assist bonuses in assault mode... I make alot less money running conquest mode, either solo, 4 man or 8 man, despite a similar level of kills or even an outright resource win with decent kills and assists

they have already said that this is a work in progress though, so I'm sure they'll get to it with server data to look at

Ditto. I was going to start this topic myself.

Last night, our poor Cicada pilot, who frankly did much of the capping and probably a good chunk of enemy disruption beause of it, was always at the bottom of the CBill and XP list. Yet without him we probably would have lost a bunch of those matches.

I too would like to see more reward for those that are playing their role effectively, even if it doesn't directly involve blowing other mechs to smithereens.
