I have played a few and thus far from what I can see check point theta is the key to winning.
Especially if your team has a lot of heavier class mechs.
Let me explain my reasoning.
Theta is in the center of the map and in a relatively open area.
Being in the center allows teams of heavier mechs to more efficiently mobilize and deploy their forces to cut off faster mechs and or groups of the opposing team who have split off from the whole while protecting your own caps.
Lastly it allows you to concentrate fire and prevent the lag mechs I mean light mechs from using cover to hit and run you to death.
Please discuss my observations and any of your own.
