Came to my mind that also the listing should be made more sensible. It is really hard to scroll through the mechs with the current way when there is more than couple of them...

This and the ability to rename mechs would be very welcome.

Posting to +1 this, and especially to second the need for a "Rename Mech" button.
As it stands, you have to pick your mech name *before* you find out whether you're going to mess with the stock weapons mix!
