I am a recently-ish Jenner pilot and have been overwhelmed by the hordes of Ravens and ECM packed mechs.
Wanted to know if there are any Jenner pilots with good strategy advice on how to counter lights carrying ECM suite?
By build,
Jenner-D
XL 300
4 ML
2 SS
2JJ
Took AMS out in favour of another JJ.
Thanx!

The biggest problem for now is the lagshield. You can't use streaks because of ECM and hitting anything going over 130 kmh is a nightmare with the lagshield. For the time being (until the netcode get fixed) my advice is - avoid such encounters.

Because of the lagshield, which you've surely noticed, streaks are one of the most reliable ways to hit lights. And I'm guessing by "2 SS" you mean 2 SSRMs?
Commando-2D (or whatever the ecm variant is). Packs 3 SSRMs. But always ignores my Jenner. Why? I have no idea, so I can't say much about.
The Raven 3Ls are a different story. If they have streaks, they're going to be able to damage you much more consistently, unless you've managed to master lagshooting in MWO. I RUN towards friendly mechs. That usually gets them off my tail. Hate 'em. If your run into a friendly ecm umbrella, the raven will usually not pursue you.
Then there are Raven 3Ls without streaks, packing SRM6s instead. In that case, you have a good chance of winning even if your energy armaments are similar, thanks to JJs. Heck, that raven will probably even overheat =)
Point is, if nobody has streaks, or only you have streaks, go for it. Otherwise, never engage an ecm mech in a non-ecm mech alone. Nobody will hear you scream (since you'll be trying not to die, and ecm will be jamming)

Don't run off alone. If you're being overwhelmed by hordes, you need to stick closer to your own hordes.

My Jenner runs the following (this is all from memory, I'm posting from my phone)
4xSLas
2xSrm4 (2 tons ammo)
300XL
3? JJ
Endo
DHS
The basic idea is that ssrms aren't going to be useful against ecm so switch to srms. The most you can fit is 2 srm4's. You can pretty much fire 4 SLas almost indefinitely so keep firing those but save the srms for when he changes direction, that brief moment when he switches from running clockwise to counterclockwise or vice-versa is pretty close to a straight line, you should be able to land a decent amount of srms. You should be able to force this since you will be be faster, you might need to use jump jets to make quick turns, pulsing your JJs and making a sharp turn in mid air to cut him off and get behind. With enough practice you should start doing decent dmg with the srms while circling but lag makes that a tricky proposition. Taking off the ams was the right call, speed, cover and playing smart are going to save you from missiles not ams. Good luck, they are a huge pain to deal with even at the best of times. If you're fighting 2, running away might be the best option.

Well the 2 JJ are now useless, so go to 3 or 4 or put back ASM.
Also you do not need 300XL, 285XL is fine (Lowest I use 265XL) and allows you to mount 1 HS inside.
Also stay within 2 hex of your team to support them and you. You are a scout and should be a pain in the *** not a brawler.

5JJ are equally as useless the way they are now.
I do 290 XL, 2SRM4 with 2 tons ammo, 3 ML, TAG, and 5 JJ.
A solid alpha into a ravens back can almost core them in a single shot.
