congrats devs on the update of joystick, as the steering/torso/speed tracks quite well from going away from the center of the stick

the setup i am tring to use is a MS Stratigic Commander (3rd party drivers work quite well) and mouse

i have tried a flight stick that has the twist grip, xbox 360 pad, and a logitech momo wheel (yes i undrstand that its not the best possiable controller, but did it for fun)

the problem im having in making my joystick setup a sucess is that after moving out with the joystick i have to center the stic and move it in the opposite direction in respect to the torso twist.

if it would track back to the center with the stick i would be imemantly happier

it would also be easier to setup the axes is we could setup with the positive and negitive of a singular axis into different slots (left/right torso etc)

on second thought i think i have this in the wrong spot

Welcome to the world of the old style controller crowd. Be prepared to:
Read the controls section of the forums under new players.
Be frustrated.
Have to adapt.
Tinker a lot with your user.cfg.

Joystick support is low priority. Official dev statement.
The non centering axis thing is with us for good or bad. Center torso is your friend. Your mech is more like a tank than a plane, I suppose. Maybe that's why.
Welcome, good luck. PM me if you get stuck.
Or use a mouse.
