We all know that yet another day that the world might end is around the corner, what will go down that day for you?

I don't know what'll happen on the 21st, but I'm fairly certain there will be a lot of frantic christmas shopping on the 22nd.

i´ll play MWO when i get home, maybe have a few drinks and from time to time, i´ll step out on my balcony and watch my beautyful unicorns play in the waves of the sea and realize, that even them don´t make me happy anymore...

Nice reference there!
I believe nothing will happen the whole day. This is the last day in the mayan calender. So tomorrow is the day to look out for.
On the 23. most people will then realize that the world still exists and is slowly turning around itself and moving along its path around the sun. After that realization, the Venus will crash into earth, eliminating all of us. The martians will claim victory in their fight over the control of the solar system. Then Daimos and Phobos collide, showering the Mars in deadly shrapnel and eliminating the green ones as well.
Right after that we will not see (because we are already dead) the universe come to an end with a Gnab Gib.

Of course there will be aliens and monsters... and Mayan zombies.
Then we will hit meteroids, asteroids, planets, stars, galaxies, dimensions,...
And... well, throw in battlemechs for a good measure.
The best part is NASA actually had to make an official statement it's not true. Thank you captain obvious!

Yay the world didnt end. Then again the Mayans never said it would. The end of a calendar means no more the end of time for them than december 31 means the end of the world for us.

itd be rather tragically funny if an asteroid were to land in and only majorly affect the area around where the Mayans lived and where they found that calendar

The plain fact of the matter is that the Mayan Calendar didn't predict the end of everything.
The calendar simply hit the end of a 394 year cycle (B'ak'tun). At this point we're supposed to enter a new B'ak'tun.
I wondering about the logistics of printing a calendar that requires 394 years of swimsuit models.
