Well, this is extremely frustrating, because I already finished this process with the BLR once, and now I can't get anything else to work.
I have converted all .cgf and .dds
I have changed the source directory in the mech-importer.ps1 as here:

$basedir = "c:\users\james\documents\3dprint\mechs\atlas\objects\mechs\atlas\" # this is where you extracted all the *.pak files from the game. \objects, \textures etc
# will be under this dir
$imageformat = ".dds" # Default image file format. If you want to use .pngs, change this

I have the script in the c:\users\james\documents\3dprint\mechs\atlas\objects\mechs\atlas\ directory
In PoewrShell, I navigate to above dir and run .\mech-importer.ps1
and then I get this:

When I finished with the BLR the first time, last week, it was an error because my powershell wasn't updated. (I'm assuming, because once I updated my windows powershell, it worked like a charm)
Now I'm at a loss

I get to the mechimporter script step as well, and seem to get a similar failure, i even copied the directory structure of the OP. Totally stuck

Looking at the error text the path being fed to the script it too long dude - its trying to run against c:\path\path instead of just c:\path.

Check out your variables when running and take the full path of command, as your injecting it twice.

I found not using 7zip was the best option i got that texture not found error when i unpacked them with 7zip. I now use winrar. And i make sure the path in the script is just set to to the drive letter.

Also to avoid actually running the script as a command per se i just ctrl+a, ctrl+c the text in the script and paste it into the powershell window. Usually once i've copied it i only need to right click in the powershell window and off it goes.

Some pics of MWO Highlander at tabletop scale - quick 100micron layer height test print, and not cleaned up before assembly - just wanted to check the scale against the "small" tabletop atlas (there are a few sculpts, with the one pictured being the undersized one).

For those interested - its about 5.5cm (2.25") tall. I'm printing out a double size version atm.

That looks good Wonderdog, how do you get the multi-parts to come out so tidy? when i print multiple parts at once i always end up with a lot of cleaning to do. I think it might be a retraction issue.

here is a blackjack.

Also, someone asked about the joints on my models. here is a picture of the atlas in pieces. The pelvis is 5 pieces also, but i had glued it together before i took this photo. The leg come out a treat as a single piece.

Definitely looks like an extruder temperature issue (too hot, try dropping temp down a bit and see how it behaves) or retraction (not enough). I'm also running on a 0.25mm nozzle which doesn't tend to string so bad anyway.

The error is saying it can't find "f:\mwomod\objects\mechs\timberwolf\body\tbr_right_arm_forearm_lbx10_bh1.obj". Can you verify that file exists?

Thanks. Check my obj files, all named with "out" in the end, like "tbr_right_arm_forearm_lbx10_bh1_OUT.obj". Where I can change name of output files?

Rerun the cgf-converter tool, but add a -allowconflicts switch to the command. I'll be having it default back to not adding the _out extension in the future, but this was done to solve some issues with LOD files.

Same problem((
foreach ($file in (Get-ChildItem *.cga)) {.\cgf-converter.exe $file -allowconflicts -objectdir "f:\MWOMod\" }
This is right?

This weekend is the Scottish Battletech Open, at the Schiltron annual Tournament. It's buddies of mine that run the event, so I made then up some trophies :)

Highlanders, because what else would you use for the Scottish Open!
