Where BattleMech 20 is hiding! I am excited to see the next entry to the assault class. Now lets hope it's a King Crab! Will also accept a Mauler.

It'll be the banshee due to it's huge array of potential hard point configurations and its ability to be the most heavily armed and armored 4/6 mech with an XL engine which depending on how big the side torsos are could be pretty sweet.

I want a Dire Wolf! I don't care that it's a Clan Mech and the clans haven't invaded yet or blah blah...Dire Wolf ftw.

I'll just keep dreaming while other people suggest more plausible options

posted here he thinks it will be on feb 6th when we get the next announcement, his guess is as good as anyone's.

his predictions have been pretty spot on and this is his idea on what it will be:
Banshee](35%), Zeus](25%), Charger(15%), Hatamoto-Ch (10%), Cyclops(5%), Victor (5%), or Annihilator(5%)

I would hope against the Annihilator as it is found only in the Wolf's Dragoons.

im guessing its been dealyed for the end of febuary, and then they'll start releasing clan concepts in line with the clan invasion. as for a king crab it would be a REALLY nice mech to see, but i think we can rule out mechs that have split weapon systems for the time being.

but i feel like a better strategy is to give the news whenever there are slow periods of content to the players. and waning interest.

Banshee can use 400 Engine according to the Engine limit rules for MWO. It's stock Engine is 380. Also, the 8S variant can use Guardian ECM Suit. However, the 8S isn't created till 3070.
