Did a bit of searching to make sure I'm not being super redundant. My appologies if I am. I'm sure you all have had a lot of these as ideas already and they just aren't priority. Figured I'd share my thoughts and see if I couldn't spark a few ideas.

I think it would be great to have numerous more statistics tracked and have a stored history of your matches. While this does increase the amount of data you guys have to store (potentially by a whole lot), I feel like its a badge of pride and it is fun to compare to your friends or look back upon your long career.

Simple ones: Clearly many of these could also work on a Per X basis, where X is a classification of mech, mech weight class, map, etc.
  • Lifetime Damage Done
  • Lifetime Damage Taken
  • Total Components Destroyed
  • Total Components Lost
  • Average Damage Per Ton - This would take the amount of damage a player did in a match (which you already show on the end of match screen and use to calculate C-Bill bonuses) and divide it by the person's Tonnage. I feel like this would be 'easier' to add than others as the damage data is already being gathered, just not stored.
  • Missiles Fired, by type
  • Ballastics Expended, by type
  • Energy Beams fired, by type
  • Average Game Match Length
  • Total Spotting Assists & Average Spotting Assists Per Game - might do better applied to each specific mech type
  • Total Time Played (in matches)
  • Distance Travelled, Fallen, Flown, Pushed
  • Max Speed
  • Highest Damage in Alpha Strike
  • Number of One-Shot-Kills (target must be at 98% health in component(s) hit)

X Specific ones: This could be for each mech in the game, each variant of each mech, or each weight class, or all of those. The game could also store Map Specific, Game Mode Specific, and even Weapon Specific stats, too. For example, how much does a player prefer Ballistics vs Energy weapons?
  • Games Played As X
  • Games Won/Lost As X
  • Win/Loss Ratio As X
  • Money Made As X
  • XP Earned As X
  • Kills/Deaths/Assists As X
  • Kill/Death Ratio As X
  • Games In a Row As X
  • Largest Win Streak As X
  • Largest Loss Streak As X
  • Kill to Assist Ratio As X
  • Total Damage Dealt/Recieved As X
  • Favorite Weapon/Weapon Type As X
  • % All Games Played/Won/Lost As X
  • % Money Earned As X
  • % Kills/Deaths/Assists As X
  • Times Used NARC/TAG/ECM As X
  • Average Life Expectancy As X (Avg. Time spent in match alive)

The most useful of these, I think, would be Win/Loss and Kill/Death and Damage Per Ton on maps, weapons, and game modes. This way a player or a group/community can identify areas of weakness for improvement and practice, and areas of Strength for Competitive 8-mans. For example, a player has low Win/Loss playing Assaults on Caldera and never noticed (because he/she plays a variety of mechs).

Possibly More Complex:
  • Tons of Death: Total tons of enemy mechs destroyed
  • Times Stood The Heat: Total number of Kills where the Killshot caused shutdown due to Overheat.
  • Down a Man: Total Number of Matches Won with one or more Players Disconnected within first 30 seconds.
  • Times Won As Last Man Standing - would require new flag indicating player is only surviving member and elligable for this
  • Deaths From Above - Total Kills by Jumping on someone (or falling onto them)
  • Average Heat - would need to be able to detect if person is 'in combat' which may be meaningless/impossible to do
  • One Hand Behind My Back - Total kills or perhaps matches won with only one arm remaining. Must be alive.
  • Look Ma, no hands - see above, but with both arms gone.
  • Millions (or even Billions) or C-Bills in Damage done/taken
  • Time related stats, such as Damage Per Hour, Kills Per Hour, Wins Per Hour, etc if tracking total time played.
  • Founders Killed/Killed By
  • Piranha Employees Killed/Killed By
I also think it would be great to review match history. Each match being the map, conditions, names of players (sometimes I want to go find someone I played with before, or remember to avoid negative players in the future where possible), scores, time at which it was played, my mech and possibly even the loadout of my, and other mechs. That would be a ton of data, when multiplied out across all the games a person has played and then multiplied by all players. Consider having a limit either by time or by number of matches, and then older match history is deleted to make room.

Anyhow, add to the list or leave some feedback!
