Anyone else think that the matchmaking system should start taking ECM presence on 'mechs in addition to their weight class. I'm just tired of not getting any ECM coverage when I'm not running my DC Atlas or 3L. So often I get in a match and their are 5 lights on each team, and the enemy team getting 2 ECM variants, with ours not having any. I'm not asking for them to be the same class of 'mech just a check that each team has equal ECM numbers in non 8v8 matches.

This cannot be fixed by matchmaking. Matchmaking itself will be really complicated and hard to make it right.
The thing you are complaining about is due to unbalanced overpowered ECM. I need to run an ECM Mech most of my matches so that our team has a good chance of winning. This is getting really boring. BALANCE ECM, make it a none must have (NERF IT) and give it to lots more mechs.
Very simple but PGI needs to jump over there ego.
