So just jumped on my Atlas and straight away noticed something was up in MechLab...

The default colour pattern has changed (primarily the head in the Atlas' case)

The reason I noticed this so quickly was because my head was painted a weird baby-**** brown colour, have they changed Default Green's RBG values on the mechs? It could just be me going colour blind/graphics related.

But good patch, lots in it.

Was glad to see Artemis IV brought in line with lore, now we only need ECM to follow (take off that damn stealth armour)

I have had a similar problem. Below is an image showing two Ravens. The one on the left is the Trial 2X that currently available, showing the original colour. The one on the right is my own 2X that, for some strange reason, shows up faded and yellow. I tried selling and repurchasing it as of this last patch, thinking that since the trial mech was showing the right colour again, the problem had been fixed. No such luck. My poor Raven is still jaundiced. Applied camo colours are also faded.

My catapults (not founders, that's a different problem) look HORRIBLE. There is something wrong with the colors/patterns on that mech. You can put the same camo pattern/colors on the CPLT and on the CDA, and the CDA comes out looking sharp, but the CPLT looks like it was painted in the rain by a blind monkey.

PGI please fix these color inconsistencies between mechs. Thanks!

Actually color improvements for camo and the pc gamer skin color. have been noted on several mechs (hunchies, awesome, and stalker came like this to start with, seems the raven was also affect).

This seems to give the colors a much better look and has really made the look of the pcgamer skin something to be enjoy again. on the above mech like the awesome and hunchie. They are no longer dulled look good I hope they carry this over to the other mechs allowing for a lot more play with the camo

Note- as for no being in the patch notes. yeah they do that constantly there are at all 5 undocumented changes per patch that we have to find out on our own

agree with what most of you guys are saying, I have noticed this issue since before the patch, but nothing seems to have been fixed.

this applies only to the camo spec view IN THE MECHLAB. i don't know if it reflects in-match as well. I think the mechs in-game look just fine, but they should look the same as they do in the mechlab and vice-versa.

my centurion looks very bold in the mechlab...colors seem deeper and bolder
my catapult on the other hand looks completely washed out, as if there is a semi-gloss shine over the whole thing that makes it looks whiter / light.
my cicada and cataphract seem to look slightly more faded than my centurion, but not as washed-out or distorted as the catapult. it's a happy medium that looks just right to me.

to reiterate, i don't know why the mechs appear inconsistent in the mechlab, but they should seem more or less consistent with each other and definitely they should look closer to what they would actually appear like in a match.

I think a consistency pass on the existing mechs within the game is a fantastic idea. The Centurion is very dark and all camo colours show up darker on it than any other 'mech, the Commando looks almost cell shaded with its current contrast and the Raven needs its original colour restored. On a positive note, the Awesome looks 100% better with the transfer to the new camo spec system, as do the Hunchback and Dragon. The Cataphract, Cicada and Stalker were also implemented very well.

Mehth, could you post a picture of the Atlas? Angelicon, could you post a picture of the Catapult? Before the last patch, I did not see anything wrong with either of them. I would like to see what has happened.
