I had this in the wrong spot, game suggestions, and started it on the first day. Someone went and made a IRC room... but that is a little hard for some people to get to easily.

Any chance once moderators are found we could have a chatroom for Mechwarriors to talk in real time. It could possibly reduce a bit of the repeat topics and what not.

Just a thought as it is a good way of communicating among the members, but I do know it would be folly to have one with out a set of chat monitors..

Thanks for the hard work on this site Kyle, it is freaking fantastic!

Agreed - it's obvious you've been doing work all morning, the forum has improved greatly in terms of features/functionality in the past couple of hours... cheers Kyle!

As for the chat room... there are tons of great IRC web clients available that could easily be integrated into the website or forums, so that people who aren't familiar with IRC can still chat conveniently while the more advanced IRC users can just add it to their list of rooms to idle in.

As of right now, #MWO on GameSurge is available for registration :)

For an integrated chat on these Invision Power Boards they would have to purchase the IP.Chat software and depending on the user licence they buy it limits how many users can be online unless they use a 3rd party chat program and mod it to intigrate with the Invision Power Board forum MySql database just like how I have it set up on the House Liao website.
