Seriously. People complain about conquest being "team death match" but isn't that way better than "team get to the enemy base and stand in the square with as little fighting as possible?"

While most conquest games end because one team is wiped out, if you ignore the points entirely you *will* lose because they outcapped you. In 8 v 8 the tactics required are far more nuanced as well. Is your team heavier than the baddies? Try to hold two points as hard as possible. Is your team lighter? Try to avoid the enemy and cap wherever they're weak. It's a great game mode.

It's nice to have a new game mode, but I ran some math (which is unusual for me) and found that no matter what the outcome of the resources in conquest, you always make more c-bills in assault when compared to an identical performance in kills/assists/components/damage in assault.
So whilst I still have empty garage slots and mechs I want to try out, it's on with the c-bill grind, and assault gets you there that little bit faster if my math is correct (seems unlikely given my math skills though).
