Hi all,

Let me explain quickly this situation properly as to try avoid all the bum fluff people seem to think about what i saw/reported.

2 days ago, Playing a game on frozen city i darted threw the cave with a couple of us (I will not name them without there permission) and for all our trying we were killed. No myther, It happens.

It ended up being a VERY CLOSE game leaveing just 2v2 players on each team. 3 of us PERSONALLY WATCHED A PLAYER (DrD..) who was on OUR team using a aimbot because WE GET TO SEE THERE SCREEN WHEN DEAD! When someone has yellow screen of death, YOU SEE IT WHEN YOU DIE AND LOOK FROM THERE MECH, So you see what they see! This is not me crying 'He killed me with Aimbot', He was on my team for gods sake, We won cause of him (he was last one alive suprise suprise!).

What we saw was him holding back and never actually getting near to a fight and his cursor JUMPING 1-3 centimeters NOT IN THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN BUT AROUND THE CENTER OF THE SCREEN! He had no 4FPS bug, No FPS spikes as his ping was wel below 100 and WHAT HAPPENED WAS CONSTANT! Fps spikes would not do this. BASICALLY IT WAS SO OBVIOUS ITS UNTRUE! I RECCOMEND YOU LOOK OUT FOR THIS ON YOUR TEAM!

So i reported him and at least one other. i just got a reply...... here it is.....

'
Hello ********,
We are aware of the existence of "hack" modifications, and I did notate and investigate your last report. We do not see any indication of abnormal statistics with the player you reported, but we will be actively monitoring his future statistics, as we do with all reported players. You received an automated message because it provides you with all of the information you need to know about the situation: we acknowledge that the report is received, that player is now being investigated, and there is no other correspondence necessary, as it is not our policy to discuss moderation actions taken against a user.
While I understand that you are frustrated with the possibility of cheaters, please do not make name and shame threads on the forums, as the support desk is the only correct channel to report players. Rest assured, we are aware and working on the issue.'

WHAT THE **** PGI! What 'stats' are you looking at cause YOUR FLAT OUT WRONG. THis guy was caught RED HANDED! Plain and simple and PGI do nothing. Just as i expected.
And to those that think aimbots dont exist, READ IT IN THERE MESSAGE BACK TO ME, ill quote it for you nieve people...
'Rest assured, we are aware and working on the issue.'
So there, although a search isnt really hard to find these things which baffles me!
Im good with tech and computers and understand these types of 'mods' and 'software' and people just dont have much tech knowledge at all these days. Dumbed down by powers that be and lack of actual tech sites that are not payed off to print drivel makes it really hard for average joe. Hell, Even semiaccurate as gone subscription cause of plagerisium! Its sad :)
THe guy was SEEN USING BOTS BY MY WHOLE TEAM! 2 others of which i rolled with. There IS NO DOUBT IN THIS AT ALL, not even 1%, They do exist although some people think they know better (and show how clueless they really are). I'm from this industry, clandestine you may say, so i know!
PGI HAVE NO EFFECTIVE MEASURES TO STOP IT!
thats what this PROVES! Nothing else, So if you want to use such things go ahead people, YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED!

You know that what you see on your screen isn't what the player you're spectating sees right?
It's your client drawing the same scene.

Last night I spectated in a friends 'mech while he had the 4 FPS bug; I saw his view in 35 FPS.

Install a screen capture/video recorder like FRAPS, record the offender and send it to support.

If they ignore that kind of proof, well than come back and post the video on the forums for public judgement.

Just make sure you remove his in game name because then the mods will simply lock&delete the thread like they might do with this one too.

Multiple threads only help YOU get banned, not the supposed "cheater".

QFT What you see is your client rendering the server data to the best of your PC's ability. I have directed players with Black Screens, 4 FPS bugs and Yellow Screens from my client as a dead player seeing perfectly what they could not. If the player stats do not indicate an aimbot deviance from the norm, then it is unlikely they were aimbotting.

Right on.

The game is based on server authoritative architecture. This is why you get firing delay. Everything is confirmed by the server before allowed to happen on clients. Sleep easy as it is not a cheat that killed you but skill.

Aimbots will surely be/are possible but they will not be able to fire headshots nor will they be able to predict firing delay and lead a target correctly. For most, hitting a target without assistance is not hard in this game.

We are now moving towards removing the firing delay. That will mean until the server confirms where the client fired and if it was possible using 'back in time' magic.

We will not allow the clients to make ANY important decisions.

I have not seen ANY hard evidence yet that ANY cheats work in our game yet.
