I'm putting this under netcode issues because I'll assume it's netcode related and not something else.

I was in a match today, conquest mode, at the Epsilon point and the enemy team had a Raven show up. The Raven was not carrying ECM, I and a fellow team member in his own Raven, were able to target it with my Commando-2D, no issues.

I tagged the enemy, and started firing streaks into him, my team mate started firing medium lasers. With my TAG, I had two other team members (Stalkers, one with LRM15x2, the other LRM15x2, LRM10x2) firing LRMs.

Every missle I launched appeared to hit. Darn near every LRM fired, at least 8 different salvos between the two 'mechs appeared to hit. My team mate appeared to be hitting this Raven with his lasers.

Now, absolutely the Raven WAS NOT standing still (as so many other posts of this type indicate), it was chucking and jiving, dodging and diving, BUT, I had him in my screen most of the time and I can tell you, I've seen 1/3 the hits that 'appeared' to hit this Raven take out an Atlas.

It was extremely frustrating, and what ****** me off even more is it was the ONE match I didn't FRAPs (of course).

Anyway, since the pilot wasn't doing a "I'll stand here and dare you to try and kill me" but was actually taking actions like he didn't want to be hit, and eventually after about 4 or 5 minutes of fighting this one Raven I finally was able to kill him, I have to assume the problem was with the netcode.

I've had other instances happen, but they were extremely minor compared to what I was seeing with this one Raven.

Ultimately though, any updates made to the netcode this patch don't seem to be having any noticable affect.

Perhaps you should discuss this here: http://mwomercs.com/...mance-feedback/

Because the game performance, excepting this one particular 'mech, was really no different from previous yesterday's patch.

That's why.

I have witnessed this issue several times. It would appear that damage being done to the mech is being dispersed over the entirety of the chassis. By the time we killed it, the WHOLE thing was Crit (red) and all armor had been stripped. I have witnessed this the most on the Raven Chassis, but also on the Commando. I have also been on the opposite end of the spectrum when piloting my 2D. A friend has experienced this in his Jenner as well.

Nah, you just can't hit the lights. Just had a battle where a Hunchback got a lucky shot in when my COM-2D warped into a building and came to a momentary stop because of it. He destroyed my leg with very punctual damage while I was right in front of him. Yet I still took him down with only a small laser (my streaks had long run out) because he just couldn't hit me while I was slowly crawling along in front of him on just one leg.

Only lost that round because I couldn't hobble fast enough back to base that the last guy was capping.

I would write this off as poor aim, accept i don't have it... Also the Mech Damage readout being entirely red for the raven was a good indicator of what has happening.

In my example his aim was really good. It's super rare that I get damaged, let alone lose a leg. Usually I'm barely scratched. E.g. the game I played just now is rather typical, my mech looked like this at the end:

for this result:

PS: And here was the result from the previous game I mentioned where I had been legged, don't have a shot of the state of my mech for that one, was missing a leg and CT armor was low):

I'm certainly not a bad pilot, but I fully realize that without the lagsploit going on I wouldn't get such results in that mech. It's just not realistic, you can't just dismiss everybody else as being bad at aiming. :)

Apologies, i was referring to my experience with the raven being completely crit over the entire chassis.., was not trying to say that the majority of players cannot aim. I will try and get a screenshot if it happens again to better convey my point..
