the annoying cartoon that I remember..

This and Ed, Edd n Eddy remain two of my all-time favorites.

Also, Thundercats and Looney Tunes. Don't think I've seen these posted yet. Animaniacs is always equal to epic win; I still quote that show on a regular basis. Of course, the Jersey Shore and MTV addicts at my work look at me like I'm crazy when I do so. I'm sorry that I love actual creative programming... oh wait, I'm not sorry at all.

Old....these are not really old, lol. THESE are old:

Rocky and Bullwinkle always fighting off commie plots from Boris Badenov

Hong Kong Phoey
Common to the era and relevant to the cartoon: Bruce Lee, Peter Sellers, Blacksploitation films, the mid '70's sound, and the staff @ Hanna-Barbera were probably on a wild bender at a film festival when they dreamt this up.

Can you say... Tom and Jerry?!?!

I can still not get over how much of a dick Jerry actually was, and how retarted Tom was...

Heh, I'm only 23 and I watched all those way more than the modern cartoons.

Oh, another favorite: Rocko's Modern Life. (lol, this after my above sentence). Everything up through the 90s was great. Past that, not so much.

Rocko is still relatively modern but I agree that it was quite good. I still watch it occasionally on Netflix. Also... Ren and Stimpy.

I honestly never thought about how many old cartoons I watched when I was young. Now that I have, there's just a TON.

Tom&Jerry
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Yogi Bear
Ed Edd&Eddy
SWAT Cats
He-Man
Spongebob Squarepants
Rocko's Modern life.

The list just goes on. Mostly old cartoons from the 90's, but a lot of cartoons from before that oo. Heck... I remember seeing an episode of Steamboat Willie!
