I think it is time that the mechlab got some love other than a few cosmetic changes here and there. The introduction of the Stalker with it's huge nose shows where the editing system's limits are. I also feel that we should be able to modify a chasis with all options including Heat Sink upgrades, FF, Endo Steal, Cockpit items, modules, etc... as a single econimic action as opposed to building a mech with several sub transactions.

How does everyone else feel?

That completely dismisses the point of the critical slot system, and until the repair/rearm costs return there is no economic knockback for upgrades like FF and DHS. Unless I'm missing your point? Are you talking about being able to refit, repaint and install cockpit items in one "window" (for lack of a better name)?

Try this java mechlab tool .... it's a bit complicated at first but I love it.
