Hello,

i've a question.. How does one put thier ECM into Counter mode? I've read its the J key.. But for me, that doesn't seem to do anything..

is there anyway to check my settings to see what key it wants/needs? I've checked the Set up/keyboard config but i didn't see anything mentioning ECM controlls.. (i might have missed it so if its there... say so and what its by/under/above?

It is the "J" key, unless you changed it in your settings somehow.
To check those settings you can go into your options (klick the blue MENU button in the lower left corner of your Mechlab and then Options).

If more then one ECM is jamming you, you will only counter one and still be effected by the other(s).

I hit j.. but.. nothing seems to happen.. i don't see any display showing counter mode.. And when i look through the Options list.. i do not see anything that even mentions ECM..

If you see it in the Options list, please, what is Above or Below it? (in the list.. its rather a long but i've gone line by line.. i'd list but , it does have a lot of options.. and no matter how i've scanned it i just do not see anything listing ECM comands.,)

i've looked at it many times.. but have seen nothing that mentions ECM.. Can you tell me what command its near? Team chat? fire weapon group #? toggle night vision?

i just.. can't find it! :P

it is hard coded in the GameData.pak file. Are you using a mech with ECM installed? If the mech has it installed it should show up on your weapon list during a drop at the bottom of the list. Counter indicates that it is countering the enemy locks. Disrupt indicates it is disrupting the enemy ECM. I doubt that the file that has the action map for that is corrupted as all the basic action maps are stored in it.

Other way around stainless. Disrupt is the jamming mode, and counter, is countering enemy ecm
