Premium account =/= subscription. You don't need to pay to play.

Correct. We were talking about the premium account pay model.

So why are you talking about a subscription? A subscription almost by definition is "pay-to-play".

My point exactly. No subscription, just premium. Two different things.

I don't think they have released what the Premium content will offer players. Have they?

I been writing emails to MS for nearly tens years to get a new version of MW (still own a copy of all the older versions and still play MW4), and now so close, my heart beating at the chance to trial a beta, and its a no go.....

SIGH............

you can play it as the servers are open to all invited closed beta peeps. its not region IP restricted but they have made it clear that you might not get a very good playing experience due to lag etc.

You can get into the beta even if you live outside north america, there is no ip blocking.

Read operation Clarification

I have to wonder if the title Inception was taken as a winking homage at Crescent Hawks Inception, the first BattleTech computer game ever.

As long as I get to play it soon, will be very cool to play mechs with big weapons again but with shiny new graphics. I honestly cant wait.

Especially as WoT is slowly turning into a peice of **** with every patch (shame really it used to be so much fun), I regret giving them so much money to help support them now.

I heard that they were going to give away a free cup holder with each 'mech, is there any truth to this?

Plus it's kinda upsetting to live in Australia at the moment... ;)

So what does Premium membership get you "long term" that a regular Free to Play subscription won't. Are we talking Call of Duty Elite kind of subscription program or something else entirely. Hell, if it just works it will already be light years ahead of Elite.

I would also like Clarification if that "Special Mech" with the C-Bill/XP bonus is for the life of the game regardless of subscription level or if it is only good while you have a paid premium membership.

Finally, if $60 gets me two months of Permium membership then does this mean that Premium Membership will be $30 a month? Ouch! I can't see many folks forking out $30 a month to play any game. I know I can't. That's even more rediculous than Activision's pricing model for thier Elite/ Call of Duty franchise.
